Hi, I'm Umar Durrazi. I've spent the last seven years as an independent web developer, SEO strategist, and content writer based in Austin, TX. I work with founders, marketing teams, and small agencies who need a single trusted person to handle the full stack — from architecture to copy to organic growth.
I started my career at a digital agency where I shipped 40+ sites for clients ranging from local restaurants to Series A startups. In 2019 I went solo. Since then I've focused on a simple promise: every site I ship is fast, accessible, search-friendly, and easy for the client to maintain.
I write code in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and TanStack Start. I run SEO programs using a mix of Ahrefs, Search Console, and original research. And I write content because I believe great copy is the highest-leverage marketing asset most businesses don't invest in.

Every kilobyte matters. I optimize images, defer scripts, and measure Core Web Vitals on every project — because speed is what users feel first.
Layouts and words shape each other. When I write copy alongside the code, the result is tighter, clearer, and more honest.
